WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY VISIT?

Long Island Psychiatric, PLLC is a fee for service private practice. Dr. Snyder is considered out of network for all commercial insurance carriers. Each patient will receive an itemized invoice and treatment summary at the time of each visit that will allow you to seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier directly if desired. Please note that out of network deductibles and rules apply.

ARE THERE ANY PSYCHIATRIC CONDITIONS THAT WOULD NOT BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOUR PRACTICE?

There are some conditions that necessitate a higher level of care than can be safely provided at our practice.

These include:
1. Actively having thoughts or urges of self-harm or suicide
2. Actively having thoughts or urges to harm someone else
3. Alcohol or substance use disorders
4. Advanced dementia
5. Moderate to severe eating disorders
6. Any other conditions deemed by Dr. Snyder to be severe enough to need a higher level of care

Long Island Psychiatric does not provide any legal evaluations or certifications including custody evaluations or ability to stand trial. We do not perform disability determinations or complete paperwork for disability or worker's compensation.
